How to make the boat fly with Dynamite
The reliable setup holds the boat still so the blast throws it upward instead of pushing it away.
- Buy at least four Dynamite sticks ($25 each) on the Forest island or later.
- On Island 2, ram the boat into the central tree on the shore by the leech woman until it sticks fast.
- Stack the sticks in front of the wedged boat.
- Get out, walk well back and shoot the pile.
What counts for I'm the bird now
The game wants the boat itself airborne from the blast; a lit stick thrown at a moving boat usually just pushes it. About a third of players have it (32.4%).
Boat will not fly?
If the boat slides instead of lifting, it is not wedged: drive it back into the tree. A second working setup is about ten sticks inside the boat on open water, shot from a distance. Since patch 1.0.11 your own blast can kill you, so stand clear.
Before you try it
Buy a few extra sticks: Dynamite also handles the Giant Piranha swarm on the same island, and blasting a seagull gives Everyone's dream.
