How many bosses are in How to Fish?
There are 13 bosses in version 1.1.3. Seven are part of the story, in this order: Spider Crab (Island 1), Giant Piranha (Island 2), Pufferfish (Island 3), Tuna and Albatross (Island 4), then the Bowhead Whale and the Mutated Bowhead Whale (Island 5).
The Tuna counts as a story fight because its body is the Albatross bait.
How to Fish boss health by difficulty
Health values are for Normal solo play, from 750 for the Spider Crab to 38,000 for the final whale. Easy uses 75% of each value and Hard 125%, and every extra player in the lobby adds more.
Mini bosses and optional bosses
The other six are optional: The Old Pike and the Sunfish (Island 2), the Blue Shark and Bing Bong (Island 3), the Goblin Shark (Island 5) and the 1.1.0 Manta from a mini island.
Two are worth doing on every run: the Blue Shark unlocks the grill, and the Goblin Shark is the best single sale in the game.
