How to get the Noob achievement
The trick is to avoid every bonus the kill-score screen hands out.
- Pick an ordinary, non-endangered creature and land it.
- Aim down sights and hold the aim for more than half a second.
- Shoot from a medium distance, not point-blank and not long range, and avoid the head.
- Make sure the killing shot is not your last bullet and not a one-shot overkill.
No score multiplier achievement: what counts
The kill must show no multiplier at all. No Scope, Headshot, One Shot, Last Bullet, Overkill, Finally and Endangered each add a bonus, so any of them spoils the attempt.
Noob not unlocking?
Endangered catches always add 1.25x, so a Seahorse or Needlefish can never work. A gun that kills in one hit can trigger One Shot or Overkill; use something that needs two hits.
Noob and the other kill-score achievements
It is the opposite of Impressive, which wants five bonuses stacked; do Noob first on a cheap catch, then practise Impressive on the next one.
