How to get Bing Bong with the Coconut
The Coconut is sold by one specific palm tree, and it is the only thing that hooks Bing Bong.
- Head for the palm grove at the centre of Island 3.
- Check each palm; the noticeably slanted one shows a prompt to buy a Coconut for $350.
- Stock food and ammo, equip the Coconut as bait and cast on Island 3.
How to beat Bing Bong
It has modest health but very heavy contact damage.
- Fight from open ground and keep your distance.
- Use an SMG or another ranged weapon; do not trade melee hits.
- Back off as soon as it closes in, because each touch costs 75 health.

Solo it is dangerous but short. A second player makes it far safer.

Bing Bong drop and drip Bing Bong
The body sells for $300 and counts as an endangered creature, so it also satisfies the Desert tourist. It is not one of the 62 Fishipedia entries, so Collector does not need it.
A red drip form exists, but its odds are unpublished, so expect several Coconuts if you hunt it. Bing Bong also works as a Reel of Fortune spin.
