Gar lure and rod
Cast the long Fishing Rod ($3) without a lure: it fishes with French Fry, and Gar takes 40% of those bites, the same as Mackerel, with Pike on the remaining 20%.
Players often ask which bait catches Gar; no lure is the answer.
Drip Gar
Drip Gar exists and rolls the standard 10% when hooked (25% with the full Wishbone).
At a 40% share, a drip Gar takes about 25 French Fry bites (10 with the Wishbone), and the bait costs nothing.
Gar sell price
Gar sells for $5. The value is in the free bait: it costs nothing to fish, which makes it a good drip to farm for Reel of Fortune spins.
