What the Radar dots mean

Hold it in your hands and every island you have unlocked appears as a coloured dot; mini islands from The Islet Update show as small yellow-orange dots, made larger in patch 1.1.2.

A new dot appears each time an NPC gives you the next coordinates.

Where to buy the Radar

Buy it for $10 at the stand beside the lighthouse keeper on Island 1; later islands sell it too. Speedrunners skip it and steer by the sun, but a first playthrough needs it.

Radar colours for every island

Colours by island: Lighthouse grey, Forest green, Desert sand-coloured, Rocks red, Volcano magenta, mini islands yellow-orange.
