Goldfish lure and rod
Players ask what bait catches Goldfish: the Beginner Lure ($3) on the long Fishing Rod, where it is 6.2% of bites.
Only the Sunfish mini-boss bites less often on that lure.
Drip Goldfish
Drip Goldfish exists with the standard 10% roll per hooked fish (25% with the Wishbone).
At 6.2% of bites a drip takes about 161 bites, 65 with the full Wishbone, which makes it the slowest drip on the Beginner Lure.
Goldfish sell price
Goldfish sells for $24, double most of its pool, so a Goldfish is the Forest catch worth cooking once the Desert grill is open.
