Pike lure and rod
Pike is in two pools: the Beginner Lure ($3) at 15.4% and the Fishing Rod's free French Fry at 20%.
Fishing with no lure is the cheaper way to hook it. The Old Pike is a separate mini-boss summoned with the Beginner Boss Lure.
Drip Pike
Drip Pike exists and rolls the base 10% drip chance (25% with the Wishbone).
On free French Fry that is about 50 bites per drip Pike (20 with the Wishbone), which costs nothing but time.
Pike sell price
Pike sells for $12, the best price in the free French Fry pool.
